28th Dec (Wed)

Went SMO to do stupid rectification, hate it! Went to collect cx's vouchers. Proceeded to Carrefour to buy microwave oven for cx. KAOZ! Luckily, J helped me to carry :) This cx really drove me up the wall! Still wana me pay for her cab fare coz she couldn't take bus carrying the oven!!!! WL!!!! Juz coz of an 'I' deal! Ok bo bien LL, I pay!

That day was the first time the entire br (plus OPs side) went for a dinner together because 2 BMs are leaving, commercial and consumer. So it was a farewell dinner. CSM was very sweet, as much as she has been quite nonchalant and cool, she organised the dinner and bought 2 gifts for each of them. U noe there is always conflict of interest between sales and OPs dept but we have left the conflict at work level and not personal level. How harmonious :) We had a sumptuous dinner then talked nonsense, 'backstabbed' ppl's gossips, secrets, 'suan-ed' each other, u noe..the usuals..Think my bm was drunk, talked silly thgs haha (ps: he didn't get drunk during the dinner but in the afternoon! Gosh! Really ORD mode!)

29th Dec (Thur)

Alritey! Shopping today! Post X'mas Sales! It's EVERYWHERE!

First stop: Eat.

2nd stop: ZARA! It was packed as usual. Picked up a few clothes, but hell, the fitting room was sooooooooooooooo long. So I just tried them on in front of a mirror, that's it! Poor Cher & Sha were like my assistants hahaa thanks huh :p

3rd stop: Borders! Sha, dunno heard from who that by doing those math puzzles would increase her analytical skills and sharpness. So she went to buy it! HUH?! Can meh?!! Then me? Book lover, of coz, once again bought a book - The New A to Z of the Middle East. I'm a freaking Middle East enthusiast, loves and am intrigued by the countries there, their history, culture, everythg.

4th stop: ISETAN! It was 9.45pm, closing...we rushed in to shop, heck care! Heee hence bought 2 cardigans and fancl cleanser for a colleague.

5th stop: Drinking session. Topic was 'SLIMMING DOWN'. Cher & Sha finally settled on a foolproof weight-losing plan which I couldn't divulge at all. So come CNY, we will have the brand new figures and faces, sooooooooo exciting!

6th stop: Home!

Gosh it's been a week since I last blogged! With X'mas season going on etc, and so many ppl rushing to do last minute banking before the year end that I hardly could find the time to blog. It's BANKING MADNESS! Scary, imagine my 'haunted & isolated' br is so cramped with ppl, you could have imagined the craziness out there, I hardly have the space to walk about! Now to update my past week events :)

23rd Dec eve of X'mas eve (Fri)

That day my br PBs chipped in to buy 2 ice-cream log cakes from Swensen to celebrate x'mas. The whole morning was literally spent on shopping! M & I went to TP for breakfast, shopped a gift for my pal - wow I must say that shop sells nice and cheap accessories! And of coz, bought a parting gift for my BM. By the time we went back to br, it's already noon haaa. Special mention of J, the pussy, who refused to fork out anythg more than 20bucks! Guessed as much :) But there's an improvement, at least he chipped in!!!!! So after banking hrs, we had a mini party! Then, I was off to meet up with my pals at Suntec. Had a sucking dinner at Sizzler, guys don't go there! Mine, chicken meat, was ok. The rest, fish, steak, lamb etc all cannot make it alright! Aft that, we proceeded to Swisshotel, wanted to go N.A.B but cover charge was exp, went to the lounge next door, is full house. Finally, settled at Intro Bar. Had cosmopolitan, a change from the usual beers and wine u noe....So, we exchanged gifts there. Gotten a pendent, bracelet and beauty care products, all are pretty and useful :) Thankie:) We ended the day early at abt 1am then total switched off Zzzzzzzzz....Oh yes, not forgetting I closed a deal that day, thank god!

24th Dec eve of X'mas (Sat)

Tired. But still must work! Wanted to retreat upstairs and shut off all customers but I can't :( Was called down to attend to cust. Luckily, closed the deal. Nothing special that day. Went home at noon and slept till evening. Evening time was mj session but I didn't play for long, went back to my dreamy land, that's how I spent my eve. I didn't go chiong, didn't go drink. Very well-behaved that day, gd ger! So in the middle of the night, I was wide awake! And guess what? Yes! I watched my fav DVD, SEX & THE CITY! Until 6am. Until I could see the newspaper delivery boy.

25th Dec X'mas Day (Sun)

Woke up at 1pm, quite early. Couldn't go Sentosa, as had a bbq party that night. Had lunch, watched DVD, dozed off a while, and prepared myself to go Hillview for the bbq, organised by dear Gary. It was a very well-organised bbq with all the food well prepared and ample of food. Of coz, poor David was the one bbq-ing, he's definately a gentleman :) Unlike someone busy entertaining our lady guests haaa. I helped to bbq the mashmallows too :) It's always gd to have guys around for bbq, they are always so kind to ask if we want to eat this or that, and we help by eating lor.. and drinking. As there was wonderful Luke gg around serving us red wine. Kept on 'ta ta ta' haa luckily his target was beloved K. My kaki ger frens didn't turn up except me, the one and only, as had promised Gary already, so there I was! But it was really a fun night! Went hm after the bbq abt 1am, didn't stay overnight. Luke, being a gentleman too, sent me to Clementi. And I had an exciting ride, because this guy loves spinning his car! It was thrilling, never sat in a car that turned 360degrees lor! Kaoz!

1st Blog. 5th Post.

Oh yes.....very happie today! Just gotten my first x'mas gift from colleague. A nice ring with a rose. I was going to pay already but I didnt know M has paid for it already. So sweet of her :) Thanks M! So thoughtful of you :) Went to TP to get my last x'mas gift for my pal, in the end bought for myself too, arghhhh haha spent money again but that was a nice bracelet. Couldn't resist.

Tonight gonna celebrate x'mas with my gd pals at 'I forgotten where's the plc already' but it is in town. Looking forward to see you gers.

1st Blog. 4th Post!

Was off yesterday afternoon, met Jas to see FT. Wow! Enriching! Hope Jas feels better now. What's there to dwell and lament on for past actions? Yes.. true.. it is saddening, perhaps filled with regrets, but you never try you never know ya.. Just like what I have done haha ;p The outcome kills but I am through it! Piece of cake! And thinking back, it all seems so CHILDISH! Hope what the Ft say abt me is true! Arghhhhh...needed all those manz!

Did nthg much yesterday, yah yesssss...watched Sex and The City! Always feel happy after watching the show as it gives hopes on relationships. It opens a whole new perspective. Sometimes humourous too! C'mon some of you guys may start to wonder why I like the drama, it's not abt THAT ok?!?! Yesterday there was a touching scene talking about the friendship between Carrie and Miranda. They had a BIG, BIG quarrel. What I truly admire is their courage to say 'Sorry' and take the initiative to apologise. Smile and hug and everythg goes back to normal. How many of us can do this? I am still learning. Admits this is one big problem I have. Prideful.

Heard from a very very long-time friend of mine, K from Sec Sch. She is getting married. Gosh! Goodness, gracious me! We are the same age and seems like she has achieved much, be it her career and personal well-being. She is indeed blessed. So Jan 14 will be her big day! Seems like yesterday, we were just playing volleyball, laughing and jeering away, playing truant.. When will my big day come?

Sickening cx downstairs acted as if he got 1billion to invest, speaking abt PBs as a stupid lot, wana sack his RM, wana complain to management, wana this wana that. To hell with you! Empty vessel makes the most noise. How true!

1st Blog. 3rd Post.

Yesterday had an early X'mas cake from a law firm. Supposed to celebrate X'mas, in the end my beloved BM treated it as a 'farewell party'..kinda sad as to be frank as much as we complained, he's still a kind boss, lenient and forgiving. Hard to find, wonder what the new BM will be like. Heard he's a young chap! Shit!

Yesterday was also a bad day for Br. Out of 6PBs, 3 gana scolded big time by cx. Real yelling alright! Bet the last counter at the hall heard it loud and clear. Poor M! Poor J too! J was a real 'pussy' asked him out to Thomson Plaza, afraid of this afraid of that, in the end stopped by cx and got the shit! Also your karma for laughing at M!

Went home straight after work as was feeling dead beat. Strange huh didn't work much but felt more tired and I literally dozed off on the sofa without having dinner. Read the newspaper talking about NKF. What sensational news! Decided to write to DBS to cancel the giro donations, but would it be 'punishing' the innocent parties for whatever misdeed done by the predecessors? Perhaps the future donations would be put to good use by the management of Mr Ee.

Heard from my sis-in-law my little cutie naughty nephew will be going to school next yr. WOW! Time flies. It was just like yesterday he was born and had the size of a Teletubbie soft toy haha Naught boy, time to get some discipline :p

1st Blog. 2nd Post.

Come to branch without knowing what to do again! I don't intend to run for sales this month, but feel useless zobo-ing.. Waste time, waste life! My CSO even said jokingly dunno what we are here for in the branch haha..... A lot of uncertainties in my work environment - change of boss, change of threshold syst, newbies coming in, colleague resigning.. Sort of demoralised, perhaps no confidence to face the changes.

But like it or not, Jan'06 gotta start work, work, work already! No excuses! Can't allow the holiday mood of Dec'05 to run into 2006, or I'll be digging my own grave for a career downfall. Must also earn more $$ ya... :)

Yesterday finally gotten some X'mas gifts for my pals. Pretty stuff :) Orchard was crowded like hell manz! Wanted to catch King Kong but once again fully seated...Arghhhh...ever since Sat I had wanted to watch until now! So popular??!!!!!

Reached home around 11plus, had wanted to turn in early but in the end decided to watch Sex & The City haha Eventually it lasted til 2+am. Yesterday, it talked about how Carrie, unable to control her emotions, had a rendezvous with Mr Big, ex bf. She had already a stable and nice bf. Eventually, she confessed to her bf, and alas! They broke off! Women being women, emotional creatures created by GOD, are borned to be vulnerable even if you are the president of the world!! (Feminist perspective huh haha guys no offence)

Gers' get-together conversation is always abt LOVE LOVE LOVE. Romance Romance Romance. The conclusion is gers will mostly (if not always) choose love above everythg else esp career.

Today I am officially back to work after 2 weeks of leave!!! Had gone to Chiang Mai and Bangkok with a colleague (Genie). It was totally relaxing esp in Chiangmai with tremendous cool weather. As usual, we 'Mai Dong Xi, Chi Dong Xi. Mai Dong Xi, Chi Dong Xi'.

Was very happy to finish my novel, The Da Vinci Code FINALLY in Bangkok! Bought this book months back, kept stagnating at the first few chapters. Kept reading those first few chaps too coz when I wanted to continue, I had forgotten what's in front!!!

I dreaded myself to work today! Foreseen there will be loads of emails waiting for me to reply!! AND TRUE ENOUGH, i have 123 emails! Madness! Luckily while i was away, my 2 lovely colleagues, JAMES & MICHELE helped me settled some of the issues :p kekeke.. Boss just came in, asked me to give him figures before X'mas now that I am back! Need to start doing sales already --- This is my work. ~

Brought SEX & THE CITY back from Bangkok, past 3 days had been burning midnight oil catching as much as I can (had missed the first few seasons) as once I am back to work, I don't really have the luxury to do so :(

X'mas is approaching!!!!! Fri gotta gift-exchange with my pals but I haven't got a clue as to what to buy. Finally I smsed the gers to at least give me a few options and they did give me the options haha BECAUSE I THREATENED THEM THAT IF THEY DON'T GIVE ME, I WILL BUY PHOTO FRAMES FOR THEM hahahaha it works! It's not I am not sincered enough but I would rather buy something useful rather than ornaments or you know...soft toys, mugs or PHOTO FRAMES hahaha those are even more not sincered.

X'mas is about sharing and giving. I would like to share with a close pal on this special occasion - MY FIRST BLOG & FIRST POST - some thoughts. You know who you are :) There is always light at the end of the tunnel. There is always a silver lining behing every dark cloud. Sometimes we need to sacrifice a little bit of our time, emotions and energy to 'entertain' unwanted parties invading into our lives. Remember: what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger.
