i tell you this is my fav! 燒豬肉! in hokkien is 'seo di ba' is ultimate nice coz the skin was crispy and there was minimal 'translucent-looking fats', u get what i mean? woooohoooo...

we stayed at prudential hotel at jordan
the first 香港茶餐廳 we patronised, randomly walked in at mong kok (旺角) coz we were freaking hungry! it was a pleasant surprise coz the food was quite decent. the chilli was darn hot though.

great place to have dessert. 義順 specializes in custards and milk drinks.

hey guys, i'm back from HK. the trip was short but guess were enough else my legs would be gone. we walked and walked, shopped and shopped. the distance was comparable to that of 'great wall of china' yrs back! comparable to 5days i would have walked in s'pore! the heat was bitting hot. i was sweating perpectually. we were very focused - aside from shopping, it was basically eating. yah, ooi and i spotted a HK actor which we don't know his name ie those 3rd-line actor. nvm nt impt. the summer sale was just great! the branded stuff like gucci, coach, prada were much cheaper than in s'pore; check them out at Twist. of coz, H&M was like a mkt as if the stuff are free. heard it's coming to s'pore! we were at 花园街 most of the time. more varieties and cheaper than 女人街. anyway when i got the pics, i can describe in better details. now i can't even recall where is which. the places cannot fit the names haha. the trip had been enjoyable with much joy and laughter. once, we were at argyle centre in mong kok, ooi was trying out clothes, i was there to give my opinions etc, just NORMAL talking, suddenly the assistant asked ooi '作麼甘激動' - why are we so agitated??! haa. we tried not to tell ppl we are singaporeans but the locals can guess it! sucks! oh yah the hongkongers are also waiting anxiously for this show - 溏心風暴之家好月圓! it will be fantastic! i bought a HK mag with this show's manual in it depicting each and every characters and the storyline. the last night, when we stayed up, for the most part of it, we were reminiscing and challenging each other's memories on tvb shows - boliao right haha. it was darn funnie and ooi emerged as the winner. queen of tvb. we even presented a trophy to her (aka watson's mineral bottle).

wat a coffee-busy day! went for 2 breakfast with 2 customers at parkway ya kun; really one after another - 10am and 11am. then 1030am, went starbucks with my ex-br colleague. the 11am cx - ya kun again. dragged until 1.30pm, we had alot to chat as always and of coz i must make time for her as she made time to meet me purposely just before she went back to australia that afternoon. wat a nice lady. supposed to hv an apptm at suntec at 3pm over coffee (wtf) but was postponed to tomorrow (thank GOD). went back to br do paperwork and 2hrs later the br closed. i walked past my mgr's office and he jio me coffee at dimbulah. hence from 430pm until 6pm but i drank ice water. disgusted with coffee. whole day i only had a bread and coffee. yucks. 630 went penny black for erdinger in empty stomach. adjourned to wine network; finally there's food!!! pizza, wings, sausages and wine. tomorrow die die i must eat proper chinese food with PLAIN water.

so yesterday night, i officially drove a vehicle as a non-PDL-driver. trust me that law is a BELIEVER. i took over his keys. hence the drive from katong-->geylang-->pasir ris. wow. i know this novelty will die out few mths later and ppl out there will think 'what's with the fuss!' but hey c'mon i'm only 1wk old in this alright. anyway, one of my goals this yr is achieved. next pls.

i'm counting down day by day for my block leave. there're many thgs i wana do. like wake up at 9am, go for a jog, enjoy morning vanilla latte, read newspapers and just enjoy myself like tt knowing i hv no agenda, appointment to meet for that day. that's hw i envy the patrons sitting at the next table at dimbulah every morning. the mind is willing but the flesh is weak - the devil in me is insinuating again.

my left eye is darn uncomfortable nw. the eye-ring area is twitching. yah, u caught me! i'm almost wanting to think is it gonna be a bad omen? nah, based on medical point of view, very simply, it just results from excessive fatigue or stress. i'm betting on the latter =)

the feeling sucks - when u rushed into the ladies to do some real shitting, only to realize that the toilet roll holder is for DISPLAY only for a toilet's sake. with shit on your ass, feeling fucked up, do u blame urself or the janitor?

was at bark cafe earlier on. pasir ris has become a new hangout plc for us - E!Hub too! were chit-chatting away when suddenly we began reminiscing schooling days. some symptoms abt aging are when you start talking abt your past constantly and laughing at the old jokes all over again like you just heard them haaaa. talked abt our fav food in canteen 6, s'pore poly - can u imagine that??! anyway mine was fishball noodles, yong tau fu; jas' was seafood soup plus yam rice and cher's was fried chicken rice add vege. haa. ooi wasn't there but i guess one of her fav was the yam bao and for queky, i think would be fried chicken rice as well but add more rice.

recalled our most hated module as e-commerce mktg. simply hate anythg to do with IT thingy. for fav subjects, mine would b econs whilst jas' was b-law. yah to me mktg modules are redundant haa but ironically im a major in mktg. oh yes, another subject i simply detested was human resource!! wtf! i don't f care abt what freaking labour relations, unions thingy etc whatsoever!

for sim, the only vivid impressions were all abt projects, teabreaks, ktv, feeling groggy and intoxicated. i can't exactly recall attending lectures but can remember the images of us gossiping and laughing away in the lecture theatres wahaaa. i just remember tons and tons of words for projects that's all! oh yes and going to airport with yl to burn midnight oil.

the similarities for both stages of life were the exciting after-school-activities. hence, both schools officially became our meeting ground, gathering everybody and then adjourning to chinatown or orchard. embarrassingly, the most exciting outdoor activities we had done were visiting the zoo, picnic at sentosa beach, jogging at national stadium, playing badminton and the many mj chalets. losers right? haaaa.

one classic remark by a tutor who hated me - 'the only time you were not late is when u were absent!' i thought it was quite amusing when she said this haaa.

my tiredness got the better of me at 8.30pm yesterday. slept like a log, woke up at 5.30am. know why? coz my cute, naughty lil' nephew was shrieking! goodness. so went to play with him =) once again, i heard 'majulah singapura' on class95.

i finally finally passed my driving today! i wasn't exactly ecstatic abt it as this is the 3rd attempt. however, in any case, there's still a sign of relief. i dreaded travelling to ubi; it's totally out of the way for me. no mrt, no familiar bus no. apart from this, the fees are exp. all in all abt $2k. during the test, it was smooth-sailing for me. my worst fear was in the circuit; kinda congested if u get what i mean. got 2 immediate failures prior in there. thank GOD today was a breeze - no demerit points at all in the circuit. one of the 2 mistakes i made was 'fail to check blind spot' and 'incorrect checking of blindspot/mirror' haaa. what an irony right? i must be too 'EXTRA' - need to check blind spots, never check, and when i check, check the wrong blind spots. trust that law still wana lend me his van to drive today. honestly, im quite sure i pass due to the anointed oil. i applied that =P

yes! i'm gg for my block leave second half of this month. im gg HK with jas, ooi and cher. this trip is organised to celebrate our 10th yr friendship anniversary. there's a special meaning to go in jul - coz remember poly term starts in jul? that's the mth we knew each other. so it's exactly 10yrs! of coz, it's also the sale season over there. looking forward to it! my 'pinkie' gets to travel again =)
