Can faith make a difference?

There're a lot things that I just wish I can help or make a positive difference. There're also a lot of thgs that are beyond my control or rather out of my limits. It's heartbreaking. I qn God but what if He's trying to let me see that we, as human beings, indeed have limitations - but why aren't YOU helping..?

Faith was at Old Airport Rd market for dinner just now. I won't say that was a coincidence - Faith saw baby as she was leaving. It has been 4 yrs, baby has grown so tall; same height as Faith, who was wearing heels. She is 13 yrs old now. Faith was in Sec 2 when she first arrived. She was a beautiful toddler; big eyes, rosy cheeks - just like anyone of you all's babies. Sadly, baby does not have a warm, happy family which resulted in her plight today. Faith saw a dirty looking, overweight, 'lost' girl roaming the market. When Faith looked into baby's eyes, all she saw was fear and nothingness. That hurts. It was about 10pm, baby said she was waiting for her dad who usually knocks off at 11pm. Her mum goes to work everyday at about 7pm. Which means to say, between 7pm to 11pm, she was left alone. She couldn't stay at hm as nobody can look after her. Actually Baby and her brother are 'problem' children as in both have IQ level below the norm. They can't behave and have short attention span. This is an illness, not understood by the public, coupled with bad family upbringing, ppl just shun them. No kids want to play with her. Baby's father has drinking buddies in the market - what's going to happen to baby if she keeps hanging around with them in the market?! Baby is a girl!

Faith's mum, being neighbour, had used to babysit baby. Baby was still within control and discipline the times she was in Faith's family. One wonders what the message of God was when Faith's mum was 'taken away', Faith's family moved and baby was left behind - astrayed.

What can Faith really do to help baby? Faith will always remember the look of baby when they parted just now - fear. While Faith was heading to take a cab, briefly telling J abt baby, Faith held back her tears but still Faith couldn't control as soon as she got on the cab...

Don't ever EVER give birth to children if you don't have the HEART and the capacity to take care of them. DON'T.. pls don't... pls... pls..
